Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Minimum 2 years’ + experience as an HVAC Technician
- Understands system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as motors, pumps, fans, switches, ducts, or pipes
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Proficient knowledge in computer skills: MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Ability to work flexible hours, which includes being available as needed and participating in an on-call service response rotation
Education and Experience:
Certificate of completion of technical training. Five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Universal EPA Refrigerant certified
Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certificate
Current State of New Hampshire Gas Fitters License (STN, STP)
Current State of VT, Department of Safety Propane/Natural Gas Installer License.
Current TracPipe Certificate of Training
Valid State of NH Driver’s License
NATE Certification
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers, before groups of people or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
